Course Description

Through the analysis of both verbal and nonverbal communication the student will be provided information to help identify armed and/or aggressive individuals who may or may not be under the influence of narcotics and possibly diffuse the emotion of anger before violence and-or injury can occur.
This course will enhance the ability of military and law enforcement personnel to recognize the indicators of violence and allow them to make split-second decisions on when or when not to use force on what at first glance may appear to be a noncombatant.
